Anegada’s flats are rated number one amongst the top 10 flats in the British Virgin Islands. This has been endorsed by Fly Fishing in Salt Waters Magazine, Sep 8th, 2000 which states:
“The reef that surrounds and protects this island creates a shallow, lagoon-like environment, which is ground zero for B.V.I flats fishing.”
Virgin Gorda, Beef Island and Tortola are volcanic islands and vast expanses of shallow sandy flats do not occur near-shore as in Anegada but rather a limited number of small grass flats that drop off suddenly into deeper waters. These flats lend well to wading from shore. We would be happy to guide you to the many bays and coves where we may stalk Bonefish, Tarpon & Permit.
